i: the creative is the label each artist claims for themselves. It's a declaration of identity, a badge of honour, and the essence of who we are.

We believe every creative carries a spark that is both personal and universal. When someone says i: the creative, they're not talking about a brand. They're speaking about themselves - their passion, their gift, their calling. It's a statement of pride. A recognition of the creative soul within.

Even though creativity is often a solitary existence, i: the creative is here so we are never truly alone.

That's why i: the creative is also the home of the Canadian Creative Community - a national gathering place for artists, makers, designers, photographers, writers, musicians, and creators of every kind. A place where creatives support each other, celebrate each other, and share the bond that makes us who we are.

This community exists to celebrate the creative identity and support artists across Canada. We're creating a home for creative belonging. We honour the humanity behind the art, building a national culture of creativity. 

Our apparel is the official badge of Creative Citizenship, worn by creatives who proudly declare i: the creative as part of their identity. It's the uniform of the creative ones. When you wear it, you're celebrating yourself. You're wearing your story.
